"You should write because you love the shape of stories and sentences and the creation of different words on a page. Writing comes from reading, and reading is the finest teacher of how to write." -Annie Proulx
Calling all interested and budding young writers to attend Writer’s Club this Semester. Committee members will attend each Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 3:30-4:30pm in G3.1, beginning in Week 4, Term 3, 10 August 2020.
We will be covering key literary pieces crossing the literary canon from Medieval to Post-modern literature. Using a rich range of various texts and sources, we will be refining our technical approach; to build a multifaceted writing style, containing a treasure chest of ideas and techniques.
No competition is too big, or too small as we sail across the literary competition seas!
Bring a pen, yourself and a special writing book.
Yours in writing,
Alexandra Foord
