Dear Parents and Care Givers
Several our students completing examinations require some additional support in order to access the exams on an equal basis with other students “Disability Provisions.” Students may require a writer or scribe, where the task is dictated to the support person or a reader, where passages and tasks are read to the students to allow equal access to the task.
In order to support these students, we are seeking volunteers from the St Augustine’s College Community to help as readers and/or scribes for the upcoming HSC exams. If you have not been a reader/scribe before that is not a problem as we can help prepare you.
The HSC Examination dates are Tuesday 20th October – Wednesday 11th November 2020.
There may be additional exam situations during the year in which your help would be greatly appreciated.
