BBQ with International Students
Every July school holidays, the International students often travel home to visit their parents and other family members. However, travel plans were interrupted this year due to the COVID outbreak and border closures.
To support our International students during the Term 2 break the College organised and hosted a rooftop BBQ for 60 international students. We also extended an invitation to eight current international mothers living in Sydney under a guardian visa.
Students, families and staff enjoyed a traditional Australian BBQ lunch, a gentle touch of afternoon sun, exciting games and lots of laughter and memorable moments.
Thanks to everyone who attended and helped at the BBQ. It was much appreciated by the overseas families as the students were unable to visit their families during this unprecedented time.
