This year, Year 8 students were going to participate in Endure for a Cure as the chosen charity event on Friday 1 May 2020 (Week 1 Term 2) to raise funds for brain cancer research.
We have decided to still raise funds and awareness towards brain cancer research by participating in a triathlon: Row, Bike and Run at the College on Friday 27 November 2020.
The SRC are also holding various fundraising activities and a BBQ on this day to contribute to the cause, so we have decided to make it Awareness for Brain Cancer Research Day. We are encouraging all boys in Year 8 to participate in the event and boys in other Year Groups to participate in the fun activities the SRC has planned and also purchase a sausage sandwich.
